Frequently Asked Questions
How long do the rechargeable motors last?
They will last between 6-9 months on a full charge. Most of the motors we use will beep to let you know they are getting low on charge before it stops working.
How do I know if my motor is fully charged?
When you plug in your charger to the blind the plug has a light on it, it will stay Red until the blind is fully charged and change to green.
Can I leave my charger plugged into my blind?
No, we do not recommend leaving your rechargeable motor plugged in once your blind has had its charge up as this can become a fire hazard.
Are there size restrictions on what can be motorised?
Yes but unfortunately, all these blinds are different so please give us a call on 01202 741671 and we will be more than happy to help.
What does tilt only mean?
Tilt only means it will control the tilt on the track so your slats will open and close rather than control the whole blind for you.
I haven't got a plug nearby where I want the blind is this a problem?
No, our chargers are like a phone charger so you can use an extension cable to charge your blind if required.
Can I use my smartphone or voice command my blinds?
Yes this is possible but you will need a separate hub to be able to do this so it can connect to your system. Please make our team aware if this is what you want to do so we can ensure we order the additional parts.
Do you offer a motor replacement service?
Yes! We offer a motor replacement service for our own blinds along with other manufacturers as long as they are still in good working order. We are able to replace Somfy, Louvolite, Ellard, Eclipse, Brie, Elero and Nice motors.
